My stay at Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the ski lifts, but I encountered some significant drawbacks during my visit. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel's older aesthetic and lack of modern amenities really detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room was large, but it definitely showed its age with worn furnishings and a slow-draining bathtub. The noisy A.C. unit also made sleeping a bit challenging at times.
Service
8.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even during a busy check-in. They quickly moved things along despite the hustle and bustle.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the lifts and close to other attractions in Breckenridge. It made getting on the slopes very convenient.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was standard, with a decent selection of freshly made items. However, some food items didn't taste great, especially towards the end of my stay.
Facilities
5.0
The hot tubs were enjoyable, although often overcrowded, and the renovation process left parts of the hotel feeling unwelcoming. There were also issues with parking and valet services that made things a bit inconvenient.

6.2/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Alpenrock. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the chair lifts, and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the hotel itself felt outdated, with insufficient elevators and some cleanliness issues. Overall, it's a decent option, especially considering the moderate pricing, but it definitely needs some TLC.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were large and comfortable, but I found some cobwebs in ours, which was a bit off-putting. The lack of air conditioning also made it uncomfortable at times. Despite this, the bed was good.
Service
8.0
The staff really impressed me with their friendliness and willingness to help. They knew exactly how to get me on the slopes for my first run, which was great considering how quick and easy the ski valet service was.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was a highlight for me—it's right across the street from the slopes and walking distance to two chair lifts. I couldn't have asked for a better spot for skiing.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were somewhat limited and on the expensive side, especially given the quality of the continental breakfast offered at $17. I also had a frustrating experience with a cold dinner after a fire alarm.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities included a heated valet parking garage, but the hotel itself needs some serious renovations. I was disappointed that there were no ski lockers and the pool was closed during my stay.

5.2/10

My stay at Hotel Alpenrock had its highlights, particularly the stylish new décor and the friendly staff. The location was perfect for accessing both the ski slopes and downtown Breckenridge. However, the ongoing renovations made for a noisy experience, detracting from my overall comfort.

Rooms
5.0
I found the rooms to be large and very comfortable, although the layout of the hotel led to significant noise from hallways and the elevator.
Service
8.0
The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, which made up for some of the disturbances during my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, less than a half-mile from downtown and just a short walk to the ski slopes.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast options were hearty and provided good fuel for my skiing adventures, but the overall quality of the food could be improved.
Facilities
5.0
While I appreciated the available shuttle service and the convenience of having ski equipment hire on-site, the ongoing renovations limited access to key facilities like the pool and hot tubs.

5.2/10

My stay at Hotel Alpenrock was quite disappointing. While the location was excellent, only three minutes away from the slopes, the hotel itself felt worn and in need of renovation. I encountered issues with check-in, long waits for the elevator, and a lack of food options, which made the experience less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Rooms
5.0
My Queen Room was very basic, showing obvious signs of wear and tear. The carpets were stained, and I experienced issues with temperature control, as there was no air conditioning or adequate heating.
Service
5.0
I found the staff to be friendly, but their service was incredibly slow. Waiting 45 minutes to check in was frustrating, especially given the chaotic situation with housekeeping and the front desk.
Location
5.0
The location is perfect for getting to the slopes quickly, just a short walk away, but the lack of convenient parking made it less convenient overall.
Dining
5.0
I was disappointed with the dining options, as room service was overpriced and didn't meet the expectations I typically have for Hilton properties. Breakfast was cold and lacking in quality.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities seemed outdated, with just one slow elevator for the entire building, which was quite inconvenient during my stay. Additionally, there were no amenities available due to ongoing renovations.

5.8/10

My stay at Hotel Alpenrock in Breckenridge was a mixed experience. The oversized rooms were great for my family, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. However, I found the bathrooms to be a bit cramped, and the public areas could use some refreshing. Parking fees seemed excessive too. Overall, it’s a convenient location but has room for improvement. 😊

Rooms
6.0
The room was large and comfortable, accommodating my family well with two king beds and a sofa. However, the bathroom was surprisingly small and felt outdated.
Service
8.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in with Meagan was a highlight, and I appreciated the complimentary waters and snacks.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, just a short 10-minute walk to downtown Breckenridge, making it easy to access shops and restaurants.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast offered a decent selection, but I noticed the quality declined towards the end of my stay. It lacked organization and variety at times.
Facilities
5.0
While there are many facilities available, some areas felt worn and in need of updates. The long hallways made navigating with luggage a bit cumbersome.
